ABOUT KRAFTCO BUILDING SUPPLY

Kraftco Hardware has proudly served Central Arkansas since 1950 — family owned and operated from the very beginning.
The company was originally founded by local builder Garner Smith, who opened Kraftco Building Supply to support his own construction projects. In 1953, Garner sold the business to Louis Bona, a civil engineer from Little Rock, who soon shifted Kraftco’s focus from serving primarily contractors to welcoming the growing “do-it-yourself” community.
Louis led the company as president from 1953 until his retirement in 1997, helping establish Kraftco as a trusted name in hardware and building supplies across Central Arkansas. His son, Dick Bona, has continued that legacy, serving as president since 1997 and contributing over 50 years of dedicated service to the family business.
Today, Kraftco remains committed to the same principles that built its reputation—quality products, fair pricing, and genuine hometown service.
At Kraftco, we take pride in offering our customers a great selection of quality products at competitive prices, backed by the best customer service in town. Our dedicated team brings together over 182 years of combined hardware retail experience across eight employees, and we’re proud to keep that tradition of expertise growing every day.
When you shop with Kraftco, you’re shopping “WHERE SERVICE COUNTS” - a value that has defined us since the very beginning.
